OUR LIVING HISTORY (formerly Storyliving) began in 1993 as a dynamic new way of teaching local history for upper elementary students and above. It is based on 40 years of British teaching and research on the use of creative activities as a teaching tool. The process is active, creative and democratic, inviting all participants to exercise their imaginations as they learn.

Our Living History utilizes the talents of veteran performing artists to guide students through important historical episodes. “Multiple Intelligence” activities help them to relive these events.

Our Living History uses history, music, role-play drama, problem solving and creative writing to assist the participants to truly understand what they have experienced.
